Police arrest 29 suspects for violent clash at Ashaiman

The Ghana police have arrested twenty-nine suspects for their involvement in violent clashes between two factions at New Tulaku, Ashaiman.

There has been a misunderstanding between these two factions for some time. The meat sellers at the New Tulaku market and the meat sellers at Ashiaman have not been on good terms as this is not the first clash between the two parties.

According to reports from the investigations carried out, the police have revealed that the fight between two rival factions at the New Tulaku meat market resulted in the attack in which six people sustained various degrees of injuries.

The police have reported that the injured persons are currently at the hospital receiving medical attention, and are all in stable condition, according to the medical authorities.

However, the police have restored calm and deepened personnel presence in Ashaiman and its environs. Investigation continues and all those involved will be brought to justice.
