‘I Prefer To Die Than Allow NPP To Save Me Even When I’m On My Sick Bed’– Kumawood Actress (+Video)

The kind of politics we practice in Africa, particularly Ghana is shrouded in prejudice and zealotry and that’s why this Kumawood actress’ comment does not surprise me a bit.

According to Gloria Kani, a Kumasi-based actress, even if she has one last breath left in her and it’s the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that will save her, she would rather prefer to die.

She’s made this interesting comment on Kumasi-based Hello FM. According to her, the National Democratic Congress is a family party so she cannot turn her back on them.

Gloria then asked the public to erase the notion that she joined the party ahead of the 2016 general election because she wanted cash.

She said:

I did not join NDC because of money, I am NDC. My uncle, honourable Stephen Kunso has been MP at Kintampo for 20 years on the ticket of NDC.

If I’m sick now and NPP would have to give me life, I promise you that I’ll choose to die. I can never vote for NPP, it won’t even work.
