President Akufo-Addo delivers final State of the Nation Address tomorrow

President Akufo-Addo will, tomorrow January 5 2021, deliver the final State of the Nation Address to mark the end of his first term as the political leader of Ghana.

The address is scheduled to take place in parliament at exactly 10. am.

The State of the Nation Adress is a constitutional obligation which mandates every sitting president to give a wrap of all the happenings in the country that affect all sectors of human life a the end of every political year.

This final address by President Akufo-Addo is very important especially for two reasons: one; for the president to give his assessment of his work since he took office for the first four years and two; to use the opportunity to project to Ghanaians what the future portends or holds.

The State of the Nation address will precede the swearing-in ceremony of the president and his vice on January 8, 2021, in the Parliament of Ghana following his victory in the 2020 general elections.
