Another video has surfaced online which gives an account of a self-acclaimed Nigerian prophet performing money ritual for some young men bathing in a river.

Onyeze Jesus is the name of this Anambra-based prophet who was seen with wads of currency notes, walked into the river which had young men immersed in the water and sprayed the money on them.

According to the video, this prophet asked these young men not to turn to look back since that will jeopardize the ritual. He went on to perform the act, wished them enough wealth accompanied by incantations while he is clad in a white gown.

According to the prophet who made incantations in Igbo language, spraying money into the river was a way of sacrificing to “Agbara”, the marine spirit inherent in the water.

He said the more money he sprayed into the river as they bathed, the more wealth that will be accrued to them in no distant time.

In a piece of related news, some young men believed to be “sakawa boys” were seen throwing out money into a river as part of their ritual money-making routine.
