American R&B legend, R.Kelly has opened up on the verdict of the jury after he was found guilty and convicted of s£x trafficking.
He has indicated that he’ll continue to prove his innocence regardless of what the seven men and five women of the jury will say.
The singer was found guilty in all counts of charges including racketeering on the second day of the jury deliberation.
The verdict was read in a US Federal court in Brooklyn, New York as he wore a facemask below black-rimmed glasses.
According to the prosecutor, the entourage of managers and aides who supported the singer met girls and keep them obedient and quit which amounted to a criminal enterprise.
Taking to his Facebook page he wrote, “To all my fans and supporters I love you all and thank you for all the support. Today’s verdict was disappointing and I will continue to prove my innocence and fight for my freedom. ✊🏾❤️#notguilty”
