Real Reason Why Mr Beautiful’s Career Took A Nosedive Explained By Socrates Sarfo

Ghanaian actor, Clement Bonney, popularly known as Mr. Beautiful used to be one of the most distinguished actors from Kumawood.

However, his vibrant career plummeted suddenly after his association with politics, when he openly declared his affiliation to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the build-up to the 2016 elections.

Socrates Sarfo, Chairman of the Film Classification Committee on the other hand thinks one’s affiliation to any political in the country should not retard a person’s progress relative to his career. Speaking on Showbiz 927 on 3FM with MzGee, Socrates argued Mr. Beautiful caused his own downfall with his busy schedules with Prophet Badu Kobi and other engagements with his church and not because of politics.

“If anything, Mr. Beautiful lost it before politics not because he was following NPP or NDC because he was busy with the pastor (Badu Kobe) anytime you need him he was in Accra; before then he was in Kumasi busily shooting,” he alleged.

“Maybe he uses that to blackmail some of the NDC people to give him something; I don’t know but that is what I believe,” Socrate Sarfo added.
