Ghanaian legendary rapper and songwriter, Obrafour celebrating his 20 years in the music industry on November 9 held his ‘Pae Mu Ka’ concert to commemorate his anniversary.
Artistes like EL, King Promise, Bisa Kdei, Kofi Mole, Quamina MP, Ofori Amponsah, Kofi B, Tinny, Guru, Sarkodie, Edem, Medikal, M.anifest, Lilwin, Efya Strongman and a host of others came to support him with artists who were not even billed to perform also showing up to show their support.
There was one person who was missing at the auditorium and it was his godfather and record producer, Hammer of the Last Two.
Hammer who produced Obrafour’s ‘Pae Mu Ka’ in 1999 would have been the icing on the cake but due to some unknown reason, Hammer couldn’t make it to Obrafour’s first-ever concert.
Many started asking questions but they say it’s always good to hear from the horse’s own mouth and according to Hammer, he had to attend to his child who was suffering from headache and high fever at the same time; the reason why he couldn’t make it to the event grounds.
The veteran producer who has been the godfather of Obrafour since the nascent stages of the rapper’s career stated that Obrafour was the first artist and Pae Mu Ka was the first album he produced.
With this, he will in December hold his 20 year anniversary concert. According to him, he had thought about it for a long time but didn’t want to obstruct Obrafour’s concert that is why he didn’t mention it earlier. He revealed this in an interview with Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM.
