Williams’ musical career began in 1990 after his mother forced him to go to a ‘Take That’ audition as a new boy band. He was chosen, and his music career quickly advanced. Through his work with “Take That,” he received widespread acclaim as a vocalist and dancer. He was a member of the group for five years.

He released the cover of “Freedom” by George Michael as a single in 1996. In the UK singles chart, the song reached number two.
