Moore was born in Adelaide, Australia. After school, Robyn became a dental nurse. She met her ex-husband in the 1970s and after some years married on 7th June 1980. With her marriage to the Hollywood actor, Robyn started a new career as a voice-over artist and television personality. She is noted for her own show dubbed “How Green Was My Cactus”, in 1986. Robyn is also known to have voiced many female characters in the popular animated series “Blinky Bill“.

Robyn met her ex-husband Mel Gibson in the 1970s and married on 7th June 1980. They were married for over 30 years and were blessed with a daughter and six sons, namely Hannah, Edward, Christian, William, Louis, Milo, and Thomas.

On 13th April 2009, Robyn filed for divorce, which was finalized on December 23, 2011. The cause of the divorce was not known but it is possible because Mel Gibson’s pictures with his Russian pianist Oksana Grigorieva were all over social media. Oksana later gave birth to Gibson’s eighth child, daughter Lucia, in 2009. Mel Gibson agreed to a settlement worth more than $400 million, which at that time became the highest divorce settlement in Hollywood history.

After her marriage with Mel Gibson collapsed, Robyn disappeared from the entertainment world. She was recently reported to have listed her Malibu beach house for sale in February 2021 for $32 million.
