Ryan Haywood career
Ryan relocated to Corpus Christi, Texas, in the start of 2011 and found work with Rooster Teeth after responding to a Craigslist ad. Ryan was chosen to serve as the primary video producer and editor for GameSprout, the company’s almost 4 million-subscriber YouTube channel.
It was initially a part-time position, but as time went on, Ryan joined the RT Studio full-time, necessitating his transfer to Texas.
As Ryan became more comfortable in his position, he was given more duties. In April 2015, the YouTube sensation began working at the business’s subsidiary Achievement Hunter, first as a co-host and then as the show’s main host.
This position allowed him to host various shows, including Let’s Play Live: The Documentary (2015), On the Spot (2014-2016), Theatre Mode (2016-2017), and Off-Topic. Off-Topic became Ryan’s primary contribution as he has featured in 100 episodes.
Ryan contributed to Rooster Teeth productions and television shows in addition to hosting. He served as the technical director, editor of animation and VFX, and machinima animator for the Red vs. Blue project that was under development at the time.

Ryan Haywood exit from Rooster Teeth
On October 6, 2020, he quit Rooster Teeth following several allegations of sexual assault. The company released a statement the next day, on October 7, alleging that they had fired him for violating the firm’s code of conduct.
An unknown woman had come forward around the time Ryan left, claiming that they had been having a sexual relationship since she was seventeen. The situation was then brought to a higher level by a Reddit member who compiled a spreadsheet listing other accusations made against Ryan.
A couple of the allegations date back to 2004, but the majority were made between 2016 and 2019. One of the victims described Ryan as a cunning predator who frequently used power relationships to ask underage girls for sexual favors.
After the accusations, Ryan from Rooster Teeth acknowledged his shortcomings but refrained from going into further detail. On October 6, 2020, he claimed to have accepted full responsibility for his deeds in a tweet. He claimed that the threats and humiliations were making life difficult for his family.
Numerous employees of Achievement Hunter and Rooster Teeth moved to distance themselves from Ryan’s tarnished reputation after these discoveries. After the Red vs. Blue project’s release was postponed so that Haywood’s dialogue for the series could be re-recorded, the problem got worse.
Despite admitting that it would be difficult, Achievement Hunter co-founders Michael Jones and Jack Pattillo also swore to erase any traces of the YouTube personality.

After a significant push from the community for the social media firm to act, Twitch permanently banned Ryan Haywood from its network following the sexual relationship allegations. Early in 2021, Haywood made an attempt to return to the forum.
