Ghanaian teachers have been hit with bad news considering the development emanating from the camp of the Controller & Accountant General’s Department.
And everything surrounds itself with some controversial deductions in the month of November in relation to the pending salary.
Thus, per the content of a viral screenshot, the controversial deductions include, 100ghc National Teaching Council (NTC) deductions for Teacher License as well as 509.55ghc Teacher Laptop deductions.
There have been allegations of an NTC License Renewal Tax which was deducted on a license that has not been renewed yet.
This has led to about 200.00ghc increase in the tax being paid by the teachers. And all the deductions put together amount to 1,194.63ghc.
