Somewhere in the year 2017, BET award winner and CEO of SarkCess Music, Michael Owusu Addo known by his stage name Sarkodie officially added Strongman to his renowned record label christened Sarkcess Music.
During the signing ceremony, Sarkodie described Strongman as a true reflection of his beginning as a musician hence his unrelenting support for the artist.
He (Sarkodie) proclaimed on one of Ghana’s reputable radio stations, his interest in Strongman is due to the fact that he does not try to sound polished like many rising artists who sound like ‘already made.’
However, the marriage between Sarkodie and Strongman was short-lived, as Sarkodie’s SarkCess Music parted ways with Strongman barely two (2) years after their working relationship came to an end in April 2019.
And now, rapper Kweku Smoke has come out to make some damning revelations in reference to what transpired between Sarkodie and Strongman at SarkCess Music.
According to Kweku Smoke in a new beef-infested song titled “Comfortable Lead”, Sarkodie only gave Strongman 1,000ghc as a signing fee in 2017 which is nothing but sad, disheartening and a total cheat, provided this revelation is factual!
