Mrs. Samira Bawumai, the vice president’s wife, has finished her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) program.
On Tuesday, March 14, 2023, Mrs. Bawumia—who graduated just last week—announced her graduation via a Facebook post.
According to the wife of the vice-president, “A few years ago, with support and encouragement from family and friends, I took advantage of the Distance (Online) Law Degree Programme offered by the University of London.”

She continued that: “Thankfully, I had the honour of graduating with a Bachelor of Laws degree, last week, in spite of the numerous challenges COVID-19 presented.”
She revealed that: “It has been an incredible journey of learning while juggling work, family, and official duties.”
“Let’s be inspired to pursue our dreams irrespective of the challenges we’re faced with,” Mrs Bawumia added.
The truth is that this feat will go a long way to put Ghana in a good light as the 2nd lady of the land in the person of Samira Bawumia keeps winning in the field of academics including bagging a law degree from the University of London.
