Ghanaian music Producer, Hammer last week advocated for Ghana’s rap icon Sarkodie to be added to the educational curriculum to be studied in schools.
“Sarkodie is now an Institution as far as GH Entertainment is Concerned; We can study Sarkodie; the way he thinks, his thought process, acumen, we have to try and create some Sarkodie course to be taught in school; we should add Sarkodie to the curriculum,” he said.
Sarkodie is often regarded as the greatest rapper to have ever emerged from Ghana but has reacted opposite to what Hammer thinks.
According to Sarkodie in an interview with Dr Cann on Happy FM’s entertainment show [Showbiz Xtra], ace rapper, Michael Elliot Kwabena Okyere Darko popularly known as Obrafour should also be studied taking his admiration a notch higher.
In Sarkodie’s view, Obrafour has over the years proven that he is a legend and worthy of being studied as part of the Junior High School (JHS) curriculum.
“Aside from me, Obrafour should be studied as a course. I will choose Obrafour because he is my all-time best. I think he has worked incredibly hard, even though I aspire to do more than him. Obrafour continues to keep his sheet clean over the years. I have always loved him and he is worth studying,” he said.
