When love turns sour, all hell breaks loose and that is what happened when the music fraternity was hit with the biggest beef in recent history.
Sarkodie and Shatta Wale; once good friends turned their backs on each other throwing unending shades at each other after the latter raged at Sarkodie in a series of interviews.
Shatta Wale on several media platforms described Sarkodie as a poor artiste and also a hypocrite who goes about bragging as if there’s no problem with him.
Sarkodie, in turn, stated that Shatta Wale is not a good friend for the numerous attacks on him which caused him to release the famous Shatta Wale diss song till date, ‘My Advice’ on October 10, 2018.
The song went viral and got many Ghanaians and celebrities talking but many have wondered what triggered Shatta Wale to start attacking Sarkodie in the many radio and Tv interviews he granted late last year.
Well, Shatta Movement Boss, Shatta Wale, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah has disclosed how his ‘beef’ with the CEO of Sarkcess Music started.
According to the ‘My Level’ hitmaker, he agreed with Sarkodie to charge a specific amount for a show they were both billed for but Sarkodie betrayed him and charged less.
Shatta Wale in his interview with George Quaye described the BET award-winner as a hypocrite and that he is a living a poor lifestyle.
“Sarkodie behaves so hypocritically, he doesn’t want to come out and say the problem but he is suffering.”
“My problem with Sarkodie is about the Glo show organised last year. We were both billed for the show and we agreed to charge $150,000 but Sarkodie betrayed me and charged 120,000 cedis.”
“I confronted Sarkodie and told him that I will go and radio and let everyone know that he is leaving a poor life but doesn’t want anyone to know”, Shatta Wale disclosed.
