Dissing has become a hip-hop culture and to some extent, it portrays the artistic prowess of a musician.
In Ghana, we have witnessed several situations where artistes have engaged in lyrical war much to the delight of their fans. The most recent one is that of Sarkodie and M.anifest.
Kumasi-based rapper, Flowking Stone has expressed his willingness to tow that same path, provided any of colleagues ‘calls for it.’
In an interview on Hitz FM, the Go Low hitmaker said although dissing is irrelevant as far he’s concerned, he wouldn’t hesitate to jab anyone, especially Sarkodie if he starts any.
There were times that when we were kids we used to do battles, I have a cause, I am a thinker, I don’t have time for stuff like that (anymore).
If it comes with a lot of money like we do some studio thing, and we are going to get a lot of money, why not?
If he (Sarkodie) disses me for real, yes I would get back at him, straight. If he gets to me, I’ll get back at him, no two ways about that.
Flowking Stone is often regarded as one of fastest rappers in Ghana. Since he became a solo artiste, he has released considerably hit songs that have been well accepted by Ghanaians.
