Sarkodie and Shatta Wale had a great relationship but some weeks ago, Shatta Wale chose to muddy it for his own selfish interests during the time he was promoting his ‘Reign’ album launch.
Some weeks ago, Shatta Wale described Sarkodie as a hypocrite, a broke musician and even called his fans silly and said they were responsible for Sarkodie’s dying music career–Yeah, we don’t know how he even arrived at that conclusion.
Sarkodie who perhaps couldn’t hold his cool after Wale demeaned his brand in the media, released a song titled ‘My Advice’ to diss Shatta Wale and also to teach him some life lessons and we all know how it ended.
Interestingly, now an old tweet made by Shatta Wale back in 2013 has popped up in which he described Sarkodie as the best rapper in Ghana and even asked people not to hate him, but to follow his life to be great.
In a series of tweets Shatta Wale made back then, he even described Sarkodie as a guardian angel, sent by God to help him.
In another tweet he made in November 2013, he tweeted; “Sarkodie is the realist Gh rapper I have ever seen. Shatta Movement got Yo Back bro”
It’s obvious, Shatta Wale wasn’t big back then and was unknown to most people and he was looking forward to get a collaboration from Sarkodie, which happened months after in 2014, where Sarkodie titled Wale as the ‘Dancehall Commando’ a song that became huge in Ghana and helped made Wale very popular as well.
We guess, Shatta has forgotten all of the things he himself said about Sarkodie and today, he’s ‘attacking’ him because he feels he’s now the richest musician in Ghana.
