Sarkodie & Jayso Went On A Rescue Mission To Save Miss Hiplife In “Little Monsters” BUT

Anyone who knows real Hip Pop, would know that Jayso is one of the best Hip Pop acts in Ghana, who are undermined. Personally I feel, there is something more they need to do to win Ghanaians over to embrace their style of Hip Pop.

You would recall Jayso released an animated music video to his song “Let’em Know” which he featured Sarkodie on some 3 years ago and it was a huge hit at the time and enjoyed massive airplay.

Just yesterday, Jayso released another music video titled “Little Monsters” and he featured the Rap god, Sarkodie on again.

I must say I took time to watch the video several times, just so I can pass my honest comment on the music video. I must say, Lyric wise, both artistes nailed it and it’s as tho, there is this chemistry between Jayso and Sarkodie making each song, they collaborate on superb.

I must admit, that I love the animation and there’s a huge improvement and gradually, we would get there as a country. What’s the thing with Jayso and animated music videos?

BUT, I didn’t get the whole concept for the music video. Watching the music video and listening to the lyrics or content of the song, I couldn’t really figure out what exactly they wanted to portray.

Sarkodie and Jayso go on a rescue mission to save a lady called Miss Hiplife  and they have to fight these little monsters before they could finally rescue Miss Hiplife. Who indeed is Miss Hiplife?

Is Hiplife being personified as a woman? Well, do watch the music video below and do share your sentiments in the comments box.

Thumbs up to SET, Coconut Groove Hotels and NASCo for sponsoring the music video. It’s amazing, to know people are now understanding the need to sponsor music videos.
