The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Consumer Protection Agency, Kofi Kapito caused a huge stir recently when he said without mincing words that there’s no single artist in Ghana who can boast of $200,000 in their bank account
We don’t know what informed his decision or if he had any data to back his claims but he confidently stated that Ghanaian musicians who talk with excessive pride and self-satisfaction about their achievements, possessions, music abilities cannot boast of that figure.
However, Joshua of Keche fame has pierced holes into Kapito’s statement by saying he knows artists like Sarkodie, Medikal and Shatta Wale have more than that because he’s seen it with his own eyes before.
He old Andy Dosty in an interview that he himself has more than that amount following his mouthwatering music deal he had with the other member of the music duo recently.
“I CAN TELL YOU THAT MY BROTHER SHATTA WALE HAS MORE THAN $200,000 IN HIS ACCOUNT, MY BROTHER SARKODIE HAS MORE THAN $200,000 IN HIS ACCOUNT AND MY BROTHER MEDIKAL HAS MORE THAN $200,000 IN THEIR ACCOUNT BECAUSE I HAVE SEEN IT WITH MY EYES”
