Rapper Sarkodie managed to befriend Shatta Wale for years despite the cantankerous attitude of the Dancehall artiste. The two shared a lot in common so it’s somehow unfortunate that things have fallen apart overnight.

It all started when Shatta Wale prior to the launch of “The Reign” album decided to ride on Sarkodie’s reputation in the game to make himself and his album popular. Thus, Shatta on a radio tour used the least opportunity he got to malign and insult Sarkodie calling him poor and foolish to the surprise of the masses.

In the process, Sarkodie thought it wise to find ways and means to dim the arrogance in Shatta Wale and fast forward released “My Advice” which became the talk of Ghana. From all indications it’s obvious Sarkodie’s diss song to Shatta Wale has really affected him as he has vowed never to talk to Sarkodie until he has apologised openly specifically on either radio or television. Shatta Wale said this and even more in his interview on Joy FM earlier today.
