Mohammed Ismail Sherrif (born 9, January 2002) professionally known as Black Sherif, is a Ghanaian singer and rapper.

He gained popularity in 2021 with his song “First Sermon” in May 2021. This was followed up with “Second Sermon” in July.

Fast forward, Black Sherif keeps winning and dominating the Ghanaian music space as any song he drops or adds a chorus to it becomes an instant hit.

So, it’s no surprise that Sarkodie looked sharp and employed the services of Black Sherif on his JAMZ album on the “Countryside Song” which has become the only trending and popular song on the EP.

Reacting to the dominance of Black Sherif in the music space, almighty DR. UN believes Sarkodie should up his game as he keeps losing the rap spot since the emergence of Black Sherif in the game of rap!

In the studios of Kumasi-based Pure Fm, DR. UN stated categorically that the Sarkodie Ghanaians knew is not the same now as he has lost the rap spot to Black Sherif.
