Born on April 13, 1956, in Mahendragarh, Haryana, India, Satish Kaushik grew up in a modest family. His father was a railway employee, and his mother was a homemaker. Despite facing financial constraints, Satish Kaushik was determined to pursue his passion for acting and worked hard to achieve his goals.

Satish Kaushik’s love for acting began during his school days. He participated in several school plays and drama competitions, which fueled his passion for the craft. After completing his high school education, Satish Kaushik moved to Delhi to pursue his higher studies. He enrolled at the Kirori Mal College of the University of Delhi and graduated with a degree in commerce.

Satish Kaushik began his career as a stage actor in Delhi. He worked with the renowned theatre group, Sambhav, and performed in several plays. In 1979, he moved to Mumbai to pursue his career in the film industry. Initially, he struggled to get work, but he continued to audition for roles and eventually landed his first film role in the 1982 film “Masoom.”

Kaushik died on 9 March 2023, at the age of 66 from a heart attack. However, many have speculated he died in an unnatural way. The police after an intensive investigation found nothing to support the claim.

A Delhi woman also came out with an allegation claiming that Kaushik’s death was not a natural death but foul play. The woman claimed her husband, Vikas Malu, murdered the actor-director. The woman also claimed that her husband took a loan from Satish worth Rs 15 crore. However, the police has found nothing supporting the claim.
