Stonebwoy granted a new interview on Citi FM to Jessica Opare Saforo yesterday on the programme dubbed, Traffic Avenue where he humbly reiterated that the state should drop the charge against him and Shatta Wale.
On the lighter side, he said the two of them are special people so he was expecting the prosecutors to treat them as such and drop the case.
“In Ghana, Stonebwoy is special, Shatta Wale is special. We are too special. Special people get some special treatment like the bosses get some bossy ‘chick’,” he said.
“The reality of the matter is that the two of us have led by example as leaders as we are because leaders will clash, leaders will fight but the speed at which they realise also matters. Sometimes it takes time,” he added.
Recall that just before they reconciled and became friends, the pair took their age-long feud to another level at the 2019 VGMA after the latter brandished a gun causing the programme to be halted temporarily whiles patrons fled for their dear lives.
It all happened after Shatta Wale and his entourage charged on Stonebwoy, who was on stage receiving the Dancehall artiste of the year award during the event.
They were later arrested and charged with offensive conduct conducive to breach of peace, while Stonebwoy is facing another charge of displaying a weapon in public place without permission.
The Adjabeng Magistrate Court presided over by Mr Isaac Addo, has fixed October 9, 2019, to commence the trial in the case.
