Dancehall act, Shatta Wale has made lot of enemies for himself but there are people out there who still recognize his huge talent and the progress he has made over the years. One of them is musician and comedian Kwame Asare Obeng affectionately called A Plus.
A-plus believes his colleague Charles Nii Armah Mensah better known as Shatta Wale is like President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo who does not easily give up.
He drew similarity between the two because he thinks both are seriously working towards their goal irrespective of the destructions and obstructions from haters who wish they never live to achieve their dreams.
“Shatta Wale suffers to get what he wants. His dream is to become the best Dancehall artiste in Ghana and working towards it.
Nana Addo also wanted to become president to change Ghana. Despite earlier electoral defeats, he did not become discouraged and today he is the president and implementing his dream”, he observed. A-plus called on Ghanaians to stop the pull him down syndrome and rather support Shatta Wale
“What will it do to you if you wish the downfall of your brother? The guy has suffered and he is reaping the benefits of his labour. If you want to cheat him he will get angry and if you don’t recognize his efforts he will also get angry does that make him a bad person”, he asked.
He went further by providing a brief history about the hustle of Shatta Wale. He said “Ok let me tell you the story of Charles Nii Armah Mensah aka Shatta Wale and I…. 1999 we lived in the same area in Lartebiokorshie Accra. I remember very well when in 2005, then Bandana and I went to Nsawam for a show and the organisers runaway. We didn’t have money to come back to Accra…. the way we suffered to come to Accra? No be small. I know his story. I’m happy for him. Do yours and wish your brother well. That is how to make it in life”
