Shatta Wale Revives and Breaks Record in the History of Event Attending in Cape Coast.

Is Shatta Wale The Saviour?  Shatta Wale Breaks Record in the History of Event in Cape Coast.

Cape360gh.com, the official mouthpiece of Central Region, can confidently enunciate that, the dancehall king, Shatta Wale has broken the records of event attending in Cape Coast.

This unprecedented history happened on the eve of Saturday, 18th February when he literally filled up the Cape Coast Stadium with music lover and fans.

The show which commenced with a little hitch when Shatta Wale delayed a meeting with the Chiefs turned out to be a blast after he eschewed the uncertainties and nailed the show to the heart of the people.

Why Record Breaker

Cape Coast for the past years has been tagged as the town of no nonsense and one who’s settlers do not find any reason to attend certain events.

Casting our minds back, organized events with headline artists like Sarkodie, Guru, Amakye Dede, Lil Wayne among others as well as other movie premieres by Juliet Ibrahim all failed as the people refused to attend.

The reactions in town before the events were a bit disheartening knowing the kind of people we have been dealing with. Words which would scare the event organizers but they kept the spirit high with both the radio and other media promotions.

However, the dancehall king’s presence and works were much felt and appreciated by the people hence the stadium recording full attendance.

Reaction

Fans closer to the camera and those our cameras couldn’t capture shown the fans singing along and shouting the name of the dancehall king in excitement. Others tried stretching hands to have a touch of the king.

The stage witnessed other performers like the Medikal, Renner, Kahpun, Orkortor Perry, Pope Skinny, Boggy Wenzday among others.

The big question is, Is Shatta Wale the saviour of our cry in relation to event; attending and the elevation of the entertainment industry in the central Region specifically the ancient capital?
