Shatta Wale’s ‘Already’ Song Misses Out On BET’s Soul Train Award Nomination As Wizkid And Beyonce’s ‘Brown Skin Girl’ Gain Nomination

Well we guess Shatta Wale’s quest to land a prestigious international award such as the Grammy’s or BET award will have to wait a little bit longer as his much publicised Already song with Beyonce failed to get any nomination in the BET Soul Train Award.

Instead, Beyonce’s Brown Skin Girl with Nigeria’s Wizkid and Anatii from South Africa got the nod from the same album, The Lion King: The Gift.

The Lion King: The Gift album also had  a number of nominations within the subcategories of  BET‘s prestigious  Soul Train Awards.

“Spirit” has been nominated for both “Best Dance Performance” and “Video of the Year” while “Brown Skin Girl”, which featured  Blue Ivy, Wizkid and Saint Jhn has been nominated for “Best Collaboration” and The Ashford and Simpson Songwriter’s Award.
