Ghanaians have been reading meanings to the recent happening during the Ghana @60 celebrations where a section of Kumawood actors and actresses led by Agya Koo, staged a short drama to spice up the event. Many people who followed the event have thrown jabs at their performance on the day especially to their leader labeling their concert as ‘wack’ or poor.

Also, many questions have been raised as to why Kumawood most popular actor, Kwadwo Nkansah Liwin was missing in action when they staged the short drama during Ghana @60 celebration at the Independence Square on March 6, 2017. But, Kofi Adu popularly known as Agya Koo, speaking to Kessben 93.3 FM’s DJ Roar, elaborated that Kojo Nkansah Liwin keeps dishonouring his invitations hence his decision to spurn him in everything he does till he eschew from such acts.

According to Agya Koo, “Kojo Nkansah was nowhere to be found when we were struggling for the betterment of the movie  industry. By God’s grace we didn’t work in vain, the industry we are experiencing today is the outcome of our toil yesterday, so Liwin can’t disrespect me for any reason. It hurts when your younger brother ignores your invitations severally with reasons best known to him. I thought it wise to safeguard my reputation this time around by not inviting him. This is why he wasn’t casted”.

However, prior to this revelation made by Agya Koo as to why Kwadwo Nkansah was missing in action, a section of Ghanaians thought otherwise. Simply put, majority of Ghanaians were of the view that Agya Koo was afraid of the popularity of Liwin that’s why he was sidelined. Truly, the recent happenings confirms that all is not well between the two parties although they keep saying they’ve no ‘beef’ or whatsoever.
