After having come public to denounce her HIV/AIDS status, former Ghana AIDS Commission’s AIDS Ambassador, Joyce Dzidzor, has in recent times disclosed that she recorded her phone conversation with her husband and served the media to play – just to shame her him for comments he passed on her appalling disclosure.
Joyce Dzidzor, together with other AIDS patients, were contracted by the Ghana AIDS Commission as AIDS Ambassadors in 2008 but came public last year to declare that she has never contracted HIV/AIDS before nor has she ever been diagnosed of the virus by any medical outfit.
Some few days after Joyce Dzidzor made her shocking confession, her husband, Benjamin Tettey Nartey, whom she has 2 children with, came out to expose Dzidzor. “She is HIV positive and that is not in doubt. Joyce’s statement is false. We have a daughter. I know positively and vividly that she is HIV positive. I am positive myself” he said.
For reasons best known to him, this same husband later came out and apologized for the disclosure he made about Joyce Dzidzor’s HIV’AIDS status. Joyce Dzidzor revealed on Channel R’s 205 Total Entertainment that the husband got in touch to apologize but she recorded the husband’s plea and served the media who also played it on air – subjecting her own husband to public odium and condemnation.

Whilst some think Joyce is denying her HIV status because she believes that will shield her two children from stigmatization, others feel she is doing so due to some monies she is suppose to have received from Ghana AIDS Commission – which she was short-changed.
She promised of coming out with a movie titled Jewel of the Volta – which talks about her life. “The story is a real story. Eighty (80) percent of the story is about me and the 20 percent is about others. I’m planning of making it part 1 to 4” Dzidzor promised. Joyce is indeed a snake – be careful in dealing with her.
