Ghanaian Comedian Waris Abdul Umaru  known in showbiz circles as Comedian Waris has taken to social media to advice people on the realities of life and social media.

Social media as we all know is one of the biggest platforms where different types of lifestyle is being portrayed. Social media has become an easy means of luring innocent people into fraudulent activities amongst others.

Most youngsters of today look up to celebrities and even try to copy them. But Comedian Waris says that most of the lives portrayed by these so called celebrities is an illusion. He added that social media has succeeded in making people become envious of lifestyles that don’t exist.
He is not of the only person of this view as some few months ago, Yaw Dabo also revealed in an interview that most celebrities who portray to be rich on social media are poor in real life. According to Yaw Dabo, majority of the celebrities live in rented apartments and can’t even boast of owning a piece of land.

Well, as the saying goes, cut your coat according to your size. Don’t look at someone’s lifestyle on social media to put pressure on yourself.
