Professor Ransford Gyampo a senior lecturer at the University of Ghana has made a startling revelation about the state of our Security Services noting that some soldiers have actually pounding fufu in the homes of some civilian appointees.
His statement comes on the back of an unfortunate picture making rounds on social media where a military personnel was seen carrying the files of Mr.Frank Davies a legal practitioner and a representative of Nana Akuffo Addo in the election petition at the premises of the Supreme Court.
Professor Ransford Gyampo posited on Facebook: On this crusade, I’ve just been told that some soldiers actually pound fufu in the homes of some civilian appointees. What a way to decimate the image of our most disciplined institution
In a further post, he decried the attempt to turn soldiers into errand boys of civilian appointees, private citizens, and small boy magicians parading as pastors.
He noted that it is a monumental shame to any professional Army whose appointment was based on meritocracy to allow his subordinates to go through such embarrassments.
