Sometimes You Have To Tell Lies To Save Your Relationship – Radio Presenter Claims

While many people demand for honesty and transparency in their relationships, Ghanaian radio presenter and entertainment analyst, Nana Adjoa Silky, has stated that sometimes dishonesty is necessary to save a relationship.

Nana Adwoa who was speaking as a guest on “The Love Doctor” show on e.TV Ghana, explained that sometimes the truth could jeopardize a long term relationship whereas a lie could go a long way to save it.

‘’It depends on the situation, your partner; whether your husband or wife, boyfriend or girlfriend. However you hold a relationship down, you can never write-off lies because it is a vital part of it and it makes the relationship complete’’. Nana Adwoa disclosed.

To buttress her point, Nana Adwoa added that people have different mindsets and even though they have sworn to be with each other for better or worse, sometimes it becomes necessary to lie to your partner in order not to hurt their feelings.

‘’Some lies are very important because they can help you maintain some level of respect. This same lie can also get your partner more attracted to you but you can tell the truth and it will bring you dire consequences so lies are very helpful in sustaining a relationship’’, she said.
