‘Songs Featuring Shatta And Stonebwoy Won’t Enter VGMA 2020’ – Charterhouse PRO

After the release of the full nominations for this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, it became apparent that indeed Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy have been excluded after they were banned following their brawl at the last edition of the award scheme.

To make matters worst, Charterhouse has decided not to consider songs from other artists that featured the two Dancehall artists.

In an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty on Monday, March 2, Robert Klah, the PRO of Charterhouse said the decision to exclude such songs was for a good cause.

“Those songs cannot be considered because the artistes are ineligible,” he said.

What this means is that songs that gained huge popularity such as Wendy Shay’s Stevie Wonder, which featured Shatta Wale missed out on a nomination.
