It is definitely good news for Nigerian singer David Adeleke professionally known as Davido as Sony Music has certified that he has sold 2 million copies of musical records.

In the past years, the singer has remained consistent on his lane and has continued to put out music that helps him retain his spot at the top.

The music star who is currently in South Africa was recognized for his hard work by global music company, Sony Music and was presented with a plaque for his second studio album, A Good time, which has since gone platinum.

Similarly, another single off the album titled Risky, which features Jamaican dancehall act, Popcaan, was also recognized for going double platinum and his single with American singer Chris Brown, titled Blow My Mind, got recognition for going platinum.

The music star shared the video on his page that captured the moment top Sony Music official presented him with the plaque.
