This report revolves around Sophie Morgan’s disability and accident, particularly a new update on the British presenter.
Sophie Morgan is a British television presenter and disability advocate who is paraplegic. She became a presenter after appearing on reality television.
In 1985, Morgan was born close to Crowborough, East Sussex. Her mother has worked as a nurse, a gundog trainer, and an air stewardess, while her father is a wine dealer.
Morgan attended Gordonstoun School, Cumnor House School, and Danehill School in East Sussex. Sophie was sent to Gordonstoun School in Moray, Scotland after being expelled from school in England.
She chose to study painting at the City College Brighton & Hove after moving back in with her parents in Brighton. She began a Bachelor of Arts degree program in fine arts at Goldsmiths, University of London, after finishing her art foundation course.
A second employment chance presented itself while she was pursuing her degree when she was requested to take part in an excursion across Nicaragua (‘Beyond Boundaries’ BBC 2004). The Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education later awarded her a diploma in arts therapy.
Morgan took part in the first season of BBC Two’s Beyond Boundaries in 2004, nine months after her injury, which followed 11 disabled persons on a journey to travel 220 miles across Nicaragua from its Atlantic shore to its Pacific coast.
She became ill with amoebic dysentery in the forest, spent five days in the hospital, and was unable to finish the mission.
Beyond Boundaries: Where Are They Now? was a follow-up episode that aired in 2009.[17] Morgan had his appearance on Britain’s Missing Top Model on BBC Three in 2008. Eight women with impairments competed for the series in an effort to win over a panel of judges and “prove that they have what it takes to become a model.”
Sophie Morgan disability and accident: Here’s new update on British presenter

In 2003, when Morgan was 18 years old, she was involved in a car accident that resulted in T6 spinal cord damage. As a result, she was left paralyzed from the chest down and required a wheelchair. Morgan had intended to attend the University of Manchester to study law before the accident.
Sophie is still doing well in her capacity as a presenter except that she is really frustrated that her wheelchair was stolen from her car recently.
Sophie Morgan expressed her anger over having her wheelchair adapter taken from her vehicle. Several months after someone broke into the same automobile and stole Sophie’s Blue Badge, Sophie said the Batec attachment was taken in broad daylight.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain, she said losing the items was “really frustrating” as she relies on them “to give me the freedom and independence I need to be able to live”.
Morgan explained that the Batec attachment “stops me having to push everywhere which is obviously quite tiring and quite difficult”.
It was in the middle of the day and on a busy residential street – it wasn’t left overnight,” she said.
“It was just one of those really unfortunate things.”
“A few months ago the same car got broken into and my Blue Badge got stolen and that was literally the most disabling thing because much like my Batec, I depend on these things to give me the freedom and independence I need to be able to live,” added the TV star.
“It’s really frustrating,” said Morgan, who has been in the headlines campaigning for improved rights on flights for disabled people.
“Having anything stolen from you is violating and infuriating.
“But I think it’s when it comes to these sorts of items that you think I really can’t live without them and I don’t know how much value they give to your life so please… you have to appeal to that moral sense.”
