The South African music great, Oskido has underscored the need to have people in our lives as no man is an island and can do things to achieve considerable success all by themselves. Everybody does need someone at a point to excel at a venture.

According to Oskido, it is important to have people in our lives, who will not just raise our standards but will remind us of our purpose and challenge us to be our true selves.

Oskido is thereby insinuating that when we don’t have people in our lives to urge us on, it is possible we will get fed up at a point because little challenges will make us fold up and forget the purpose for which we set out to do something.

“It’s important we have people in our lives who raise our standards, remind us of our vital purpose, & challenge us to be our true selves,” he tweeted.

A man can not be great all by himself, hence, there is the need to have people around to challenge you to be the best that you can be.

Oskido, real name, Oscar Sibonginkosi Mdlongwa, is a South African recording artist, DJ, record producer and businessman. Having been in the music industry for over 30 years, Oskido has reached a prominent status in the South African music industry, more importantly in popular youth culture.
