‘Stay At Home & Pray’- Chief Iman Tells Muslims

The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Usman Nuhu Sharubutu has directed all Muslims in the country to stay at home and pray as part of measures aimed at curbing coronavirus in conformity with the instructions issued by the President Nana Akufo Addo. 

The President, in a live broadcast on Sunday placed a temporal ban on all social gatherings including funerals, festivals, all religious activities, conferences, schools and other outdoor events which sees the assembly of people after Ghana recorded six cases of coronavirus.

In a related development, The Methodist Church of Ghana, the Pentecost Church of Ghana and the Ghana Baptist Convention have all stopped church-related activities for the meantime as the global crises continue.
