The Managing Director for PrimeTime Company Limited, Mrs. Nana Akua Ankomah-Asare, organizers of the National Science And Maths Quiz (NSMQ) has pleaded with Ghanaians to stop trolling losing school of the competition especially those who lose in the finals.
She humbly made the call at the closing ceremony for this year’s quiz which was won by Presbyterian Boys Senior High School. According to the Managing Director for Prime Time Company Limited, students put in much effort during their preparations for the quiz so it will be unfair to ridicule them as the norm has been in recent times although it generates much hype for the programme.
Meanwhile, Presby Boys became the most successful school in the annual competition after they beat Adisadel College and Opoku Ware Senior High School in that order to win this year’s competition.
They were awarded three thousand, six hundred cedis(3600) from ABSA bank. They were also awarded an amount of ten thousand Ghana cedis (10,000) from AirtelTigo.
