Stray cattle moving with vehicles in traffic on major streets of Accra raises concern [Video]

Efforts to make Accra, Ghana’s capital, the cleanest city in Africa are being hindered by cow invasions of certain major streets and districts.

On June 24, 2022, our reporter photographed some stray animals wandering major streets.

A cow was seen moving with automobiles in the center of the road in the footage as if it were also a vehicle.

This horrible sight is typical in the Central Business District, Abeka Junction, and the Achimota woodland area.

This location between Abeka Junction and Achimota, where this humiliating situation occurs frequently, is recognized as one of the most elite neighborhoods in the capital since it houses many large institutions and beautiful hotels in the country.

The most worrying aspect was that there were no herdsmen to direct the cattle.
