Strongman and Teeplow’s rivalry dates back to the time they both participated in the reality show that unearthed their talent dubbed, ‘The Next Big Thing’ back in 2012 before they became commercial artistes.
Both artistes have been hailed as the new face of the ‘New School’ but it’s quite interesting to note that they don’t get along easily, whilst their fans are equally divided along the same tangent.
In an interview to promote his new song featuring Nigeria’s Victor Adere aka Victor AD, TeePhlow mentioned that he has no friends in the industry because we often confuse the word with acquaintance.
According to the Fante rapper whose real name is Lukeman Ekow Baidoo, there’s absolutely no one in the industry he can call a friend, not even Strongman.
He said:
“No no, me, friend dier this industry, friends no dey inside ooo. No. Strong is not my friend, plenty people no be my friend. The word friendship ebe like we de confuse am, we be co-artist, all of us.”
In an interview with Sammy Flex on Zylofon, TeePhlow confirmed his tweet that stated “When two head come together to shut one person…And dey end up being shut down… Gods Own!” was basically not to cause harm.
