Sundar Pichai is a famous Indian-born American technology executive who currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Alphabet Inc. and its subsidiary Google LLC.
Sundar Pichai was born in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India in 1972 and earned a Bachelor of Technology degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in 1993.
He then went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Material Sciences and Engineering from Stanford University in 1995, followed by an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 2002.
Pichai began his career at Google as a product manager and engineer, working on various projects such as Google Toolbar and Google Chrome.
In 2014, he was appointed Senior Vice President of Products at Google, overseeing Android, Chrome OS, Google Drive, Maps, Search, and YouTube.
