Controversial TV and radio personality, Afia Schwarzenegger, has subtly thrown shades at her colleagues in the entertainment industry who wait for people to die before showing affection to stop.
Afia Schwarzenegger in a video on her Instagram page said she was appalled by how people have jumped on social media to mourn the late Bishop Bernard Nyarko, shedding fake tears and eulogies, when they did nothing to help him when he was sick.
According to Afia Schwarzenegger, the only time the whole of Ghana comes together to show love is when someone dies.
“Why do we as Ghanaians love the dead this much? I remember when the man was sick, we heard his colleagues claimed they tried to call him and didn’t get any response, but still they were able to hear it when he died. Show love to people when they are alive because what I have observed is that the only time the whole Ghana comes together to show you love is when you have died,” she stated.
