Takoradi Hospital refuses to release medical records of missing but found woman, this is why

Rev. Osei Boateng, Administrator of Takoradi Hospital, says the facility is keeping the medical records of Josephine Panyin Mensah, the said pregnant woman who was allegedly kidnapped in Takoradi about two weeks ago, private.

According to him, the facility is unable to provide detailed information about her visits to confirm or deny her pregnancy.

Rev. Boateng told Eyewitness News that the woman in question first visited the facility in September 2020, but records show that she made at least two additional visits for medical care.

“The checks show that this lady has ever visited the hospital, once, twice, or three times according to the records, but we are unable to disclose the detailed information concerning the purpose of her visit and the conditions for which she was seen by a doctor, so we are not permitted to do so.”

“This lady has been in the hospital, and the first time she came there was around last September, and from there, records show that she has been there for about two or three occasions,” he added.
