Ghanaian comedian, Michael Owusu Afiriyie, known in the entertainment space as Teacher Kwadwo, has broken his silence on Nana Ama McBrown’s long absence as the host of UTV’s United Showbiz.

Kwadwo in an interview on Kingdom FM addressed the many ongoing rumors circulating about the change of host of United Showbiz.

Nana Ama Mcbrown who has been the host of United Showbiz since its inception has for some time absented herself from the show for reasons the public is eager to hear.

She conducts the show well and has become synonymous with her causing many to somehow lose interest in the show whenever a new host is announced.

While many have speculated that Nana Ama Mcbrown’s contract with UTV has been dissolved, others are of the view that she has been fired for a disrespectful act.

Well, Teacher Kwadwo has finally lifted the lid on the reason why she has been seen on the show for some time now.

According to Teacher Kwadwo, Nana Ama Mcbrown’s contract with UTV still runs and she still stands as the official TV host of the show.

He stated that her short break is part of the station’s effort to change how activities are conducted in order to enhance and strengthen its programming.
