The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has asked Ghanaians to disregard reports suggesting the detection of monkeypox in the Western Region.

Monkey Pox has now become the new threat to life in the country after 200 cases were been detected worldwide.

Ghana continues to battle health issues and the first monkeypox detection will plunge the country into fear, and this is exactly what happened when a social media report alleged that the country had recorded its first case of monkeypox in the Western Region.
