The images Black Sherif used at his recent concert was a business strategy – Arnold Asamoah

During a recent performance at the Palladium Theatre in New York, Black Sherif’s contentious Baphomet sign was discussed by entertainment business analyst and journalist Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo.

The renowned analyst argued that Black Sherif’s usage of the insignia could be viewed as a marketing ploy rather than a representation of his true allegiance during a discussion on UTV.

“That sign has its meaning and its origin so if I see such a sign on your body or car, I have every right to interpret it as I want based on facts The Baphomet sign stage is connected to the church of satan,” he submitted.

While the ‘Baphomet’ symbol may carry satanic connotations to some, Arnold emphasized the importance of understanding the context of show business and the tactics employed by artists to create buzz around their craft.

“Let’s understand that the sign is associated with the satanic church. Let’s understand that this is show biz and one of the critical elements in this game is marketing,” he underscored.

Arnold highlighted that in the world of show business, generating conversation and sparking curiosity is a crucial element of successful marketing.

Artistes such as Kanye West JayZ, Beyonce, Rihanna, and our very own Sarkodie have been linked to being a part of the Illuminati, this has been a conspiracy theory over the years and these artistes thrive on generating conversation to market their craft. They’re smart to play with these rumours,” he shared
