Ghanaian-born British Conservative Party member and former Finance Minister Kwasi Alfred Addo Kwarteng has been comforted by Ken Ofori-Atta.

Ofori-Atta claims that his greatest sorrow was knowing that a Ghanaian who had achieved the highest level had to endure such misfortune.

After sitting down with TV3 three days ago, he said, “The hurt or grief is that he is a Ghanaian reaching practically the highest level, Chancellor of the Exchequer.

“I am always very optimistic, if one is really doing things in truth there might be some waves but the Lord will see him through. I was surprised at what happened. I have sent an email to him, I told him the Lord knows best.”
