A furious Edem has laid the blame concerning the trending Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale brouhaha right at the doorstep of the media for always pitching artistes against each other and asking unnecessary questions about artists during interviews.

Speaking on the Citi Breakfast Show, Edem said, “We are in a new era where we don’t have to interview people and ask them if artiste A or artiste B; who is better? We have to change the narrative. We don’t have to compare people’s talents anymore. We just have to celebrate them.”

The infamous fight, which continue to dominate discussion on social media and mainstream media, started when Stonebwoy won the Best Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the year.

When he went on stage to receive his award, Shatta Wale also decided to go to the same stage with his crew for reasons best known to him and that was when disaster struck.

It became a free for all fight as Stonebwoy pulled a gun in the melee which caused patrons to flee for their lives, groundig the program to a halt.
