Franklin Cudjoe, the Founding President and Chief Executive Officer of IMANI Centre for Policy and Education, appears to be in awe of the activities of the Electoral Commission.
The EC recently announced a close to a month’s break from work and many people didn’t understand why they have to break from work at this time when the election results are still causing problems as the opposition has refused to accept the results.
According to Franklin Cudjoe, it appears to him the EC commissioners are going on leave with not just their physical bodies, but their “brains” as well, and he describes it as unbelievable.
It’s not too clear why Franklin is having such thoughts about the EC Commissioners but many people have recently not been impressed with some of the things that they do.
It is not also clear if it is the EC’s decision to issue a press release where they debunked rumours and described as fake a video that said Mahama, instead of Nana has been declared by the Commission as the president-elect, that surprised him.
In his words;
“It looks as if it is not only the physical bodies of the EC commissioners that are going on leave, their minds have gone ahead of them. Unbelievable”.
