It turns out that it’s not only Sarkodie who was trolled for being overlooked by Beyonce on her epic album The Lion King: The Gift which packed top talents in Africa on the huge project.
Nigeria’s Davido is suffering the same fate in Nigeria and it’s becoming nasty. Remember six Nigerians were chosen; Burna Boy, Wizkind, Tiwa Savage, Mr Eazi, Yemi Alade and Tekno. Admittedly Davido’s profile is ahead of some of the selected artists but of course that’s not the criteria Beyonce used to make her choice.
Well according to one social media user who seems to ‘know everything’, Davido was rejected because of his ‘frog voice.’ This lady, who goes by the name Black Diamond also lambasted Davido for always claiming to be an International champion and African best artiste.
Diamond did not end there as she fired Davido’s fans to bow down their heads in shame because their boss has been given a big ‘yawa.’
