The fact still remains that contemporary artistes are good and are doing their best to continue the legacy left behind by the veterans, but their stage performance built on miming is the only thing that makes the veterans be at the highest level in all music rankings.

And as far as music enthusiasts and pundits are more concerned about live stage performance of an artiste, it makes concerts packed with veterans receive more attention and that has been the philosophy of Blow Media, the organisers of “Rewind Concert”.

Besides, Blow Media’s annual “Rewind Concert” seeks to reactivate the careers of the veterans or better still pacesetters of the Hiplife genre as well as introduce their fans to their new music. The good news is that on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, “Rewind Concert” was launched in the Garden City, Kumasi inside Sunset Hotel.
